The London School of Ceramics was founded on the core principles of offering Special Needs adults and children, as well as individuals who are suffering from mental illness and isolation a place to connect with others and explore the artistic and craft element that is inherent within each one of us.

By doing so our Special Needs students enjoy a thriving and inspiring environment that can dramatically reduce stress, tension and emotional isolation.

All classes and courses are completely FREE of charge to all Special needs adults and children, as well as individuals who are suffering from mental illness.

Come explore a journey, try new things, learn to let go, and build something gradually with us at one of our engaging classes. You'll also have a blast with other people! It's more important than ever to put your health first, and our pottery home is the perfect place to relax.
Pick something special from our assortment of distinctive functional pottery, which includes plant pots and vases, ceramic organizers for the home, pottery that we can elegantly package as a gift, and a range of kitchenware such as bowls, plates, cups, mugs, jugs, pourers, and more.
George, along with his amazing team, runs the London School of Ceramics. They are all slightly obsessed with ceramics. Since we are training absolute beginners and intermediary students from all ages and backgrounds, we welcome your inquiries from individuals who would like to learn the beautiful and relaxing Art of Ceramics with us.

With our talented artists and tutors who have over 35 years in the Art of Ceramic techniques, both new students even seasoned potters will learn some fantastic new techniques in this brief course. It is the ideal introduction to ceramics. If you are new to pottery and want to join our regular evening classes, or are looking for a more thorough foundation in technique, this is the best course to start on. The course is designed for adults for up to six weeks on weekdays and evenings from 8am through to 10pm.
The entire cost of the course including materials and firing for your work is £340.
After completing this course, you'll have regular access to our studios should you wish to further your skills. The course is taught in a dedicated ceramics studio equipped with all the facilities you require, whatever your preferences, in throwing on the wheel to hand-building and sculpture.
A specialized ceramics studio is equipped with state of the art facilities and is accessible for all our students and members. We always make sure all our members and students of all ages have access and the space to explore their creativity.
We supply Aprons and all cleaning accessories so you dont need to bring your own, although we suggest you wear clothing that you don't mind getting clay on as we are in for a FUN DAY.
Your project pieces can be made and then fired in our Kilns and later glazed using any of our Standard or SPECIAL EFFECT GLAZES that we can display to you when you are on site.
